Running From Debt Round-up

Set your goals high and strive to reach them!

Happy Friday to you all! I have rounded up a couple blog posts from around the personal finance and running community that I thought were cool. Since starting this blog, I have discovered other awesome people who write about the same passion as I do. And they are much better writers that I am!! I thought I would share some of their posts from this week. If I can learn from them, I am sure you can pick up a thing or two from these guys also. Head on over to their blog, drop a line, and comment on their posts! Tell them Running From Debt sent ya!!

Running Posts

Chris over at Marathon Living ran 34 miles on his 34th birthday this week. Let me spell that for you: THIRTY FOUR MILES!! To top that off, he ran it ONE DAY after running the Surf City Marathon in 3:18:54 !! Happy Birthday Chris and Awesome Job!! #Run4Will

I was going to add more posts, but I think Chris’ accomplishment deserved a to stand on its own!!

Finance Posts

Mario , who blogs on Debtblag, posted his goals for the year. He also increased his net worth by $6,800 this month alone. Nice job and good luck with your finance goals!! You are a Debt Ninja!

Over at Financial Debauchery, Mr. Financial Debauchery posted on how he saved $600 on his auto insurance by simply shopping around. Head over there to learn how he did it and save some of your own cash money!!

Melanie, who writes on her blog, Dear Debt, is contemplating on attending FinCon this year. If you do not know what FinCon is, check out her post!

I hope you all have a great weekend. I’ll be getting back out running. I think I have a  toenail that is going to fall off soon. It is turning black under the nail. I would post a pic of it, but I don’t think you will want to see that!! Aside from that little medical problem, I’m going to be working on our taxes for the next week. Oh the joys of tax season!!

What are your plans for this weekend?

Thanks for Running With Me!!

I think I’d rather spend my birthday eating cake! :) I’m about to lose my baby toe toenail too. The joys of running! I’m playing beach volleyball this weekend despite the weather not being very nice and a sore calf. I haven’t played in so long!

I gotta tell you, I’ve lost this toenail before so I guess I’m prone to it, but it’s not that fun!

Great info (found you from Tonya@ Healthy, Fit, and Frugal) – definitely appreciate the financial links, always glad to work on keeping more of what we earn!

Also love the ‘miles for your birthday’ … but for me it will be quite a few, but then I remembered I’m signed up for a 50 miler in July so whew, I guess.
