Summertime is Here! Get out and be Active.

Summertime is slowly making it’s way to Southern California. The weather is getting warmer. The sun is up earlier. And the days are longer. This is a good reason to get out of the house and be active. It’s getting easier to run after work because I can take the girls out in their stroller when the sun begins to set. Surprisingly, they like to ride in the BOB stroller. It’s nice because the ride is a lot smoother with the built in shock absorbers and the sunshade can cover them up pretty good. Whenever I take them out, I am adding A LOT of resistance to my running, which is helpful because it adds a sense of strength training when I run up hilly roads.

My marathon training is moving along, I am looking at a couple beginner marathon training programs to help me stay motivated. My number one goal is to finish the marathon. I am not running for time, I am simply running to finish. If anyone has any suggestions for a great beginner marathon training program, let me know!
